The house’s shape was chosen for simplicity, enabling the internal lay out to be arranged in a certain hierarchical order. The civilian architectural look best corresponds to our republic’s categorization in the framework of a world community and partially refers to the country´s cultural history.

The house was placed in the site with the utmost of care so that its mass kept an adequate proportion between the house and the garden. The proposal strived to create a simple and panoramic house, the solidity of which also counted on the high quality of the materials used and on the emphasis on a perfect and well thought out elaboration of detail.

Its lay out is arranged into clearly defined tracts minimizing the demands on internal communications.

The façade’s surface combines distinctly smooth areas of filled and glazed parts and keeps the constructional system as an inseparable component of the building’s external expression.
