The house is divided into two masses. Lower, single-storey mass is a living space that opens up to its surroundings. This living area has a strong “back” consisting of service spaces and garage. In contrast, the higher two-storey mass with its distinctive rack roof is a self-contained house (wooden house) with bedrooms, bathrooms and accompanying programme. It is connected to the living area by a short corridor. Landscape modifications then create a smooth continuity between the interior and exterior.
